No itâs not they wonât let you. They barely let me and I have 5 YOE.
Yikes
Deloitte is notorious for down leveling candidates. Way back when I was a new manager with 6 years of experience and an advanced degree, they tried offering me a SC role (interviewed for manager, which is what they reached out to me about) to join when they offered. Asked if it was related to my performance during the interview and the hr contact said no. I declined the D without trying to negotiate. Still happy about that decision, knowing peers who went over
Given that the analyst program is a 2 year program, trying to get SC is out of touch. You would be in your second year as an analyst with 1.5 YOE at Deloitte. I except SCs to be able to lead teams (I had a team of 5 and then a team of 25 as an SC for example).
Thatâs not leveling down, Itâs how our levels work.
I donât think so, and you wouldnât even be considered an experienced consultant - youâd be considered an experienced analyst. I think itâs a stretch and you should look at analyst and consultant levels. Besides, being in a specific group doesnât guarantee you a project in that area.
Deloitte will down level you but tends to compensate fairly
Are peanuts fair?
