Helo everyone, I had an interview scheduled with Cognizant on last week of Jan 2022 but due to technical error in Verification code I couldn't join interview lobby. I reported the same to the HR and I was told the interview will be rescheduled. Now there's no update from the HR. Could you please guide me how can I proceed or any email address to which I can inform to take the rescheduling process further.
Thanks in advance

Hey, I have 4 YOE and currently a manager at PwC and have been managing teams for a little over a year now. My role mainly consists of leading teams of engineers deliver MVPs to our clients.
If I wanted to exit to Google or Facebook (Meta) what role would align for me? I was looking at engineering manager roles but unsure if that’s too senior for me.

Google doesn’t let people work remotely. And they have open office environment with bad acoustics so that likely explains the sound. Also they kind of have toxic culture which maybe explains the attitude. I have no desire to work there but I know everyone in consulting drools over the place.
Besides I have no desire to live in the Bay Area. Gross.
Slalom1 - the interview cancellation happened before I even showed up for onsite. It was one out of 4 other originally scheduled. In hindsight, it felt like hiring mgr already had another candidate in mind for the position or decision already made before my onsite. Experience kind of burst the halo I believed they had. Not any out of the world smart people but unnecessarily arrogant (at least one of them)
I had a phone interview with a team member and in the beginning he made a comment saying, I see that from your resume, more of your experience is in X, while we do mostly Y, is that true? Note that X and Y are very related and interconnected. Felt like I was fighting an upward battle. It was also extremely noisy and I could barely make out what he was saying asking him to repeat his questions many times. Sounded like he was in a call center. The recruiter gave me feedback and asked me for feedback as well. When I mentioned this to him, he said the interviewer was supposed to be in a quiet room. Sorry you also had a negative experience.
OP, happened to me for another SV job. Sometimes you're just not a fit compared to the cohort they're interviewing and they don't like you.
Just move on.
D1, You’re generalizing a whole lot. I used to work there and would often WFH. I also have a bunch of friends who are currently there and they haven’t been to the office in WEEKS - they are currently traveling the globe, “working from home” i.e. their hotel or a local Google office.
I’m sure it depends on which department you work for but I know for sure POPS, Sales, and Marketing is CONSTANTLY working from home lol.
Yeah I worked from home all the time
It is normal - google cancels future interviews if someone is a clear no.
Seems like that happened here.
Heard that from a friend over there
Google 1- how is the work culture there otherwise? Is my interview experience normal with people being rude etc
It's not uncommon. I had some pretty aggressive interviewers when I first joined. Culture overall is very friendly but there are some rude folks as with any big company.
