Dilemma. I’ve been unemployed and on the job hunt since mid summer. I’m pretty far along in the interview process with Omnicom Media and expect I’ll get an offer soon. Is it worth accepting? With the acquisition and major benefits cuts I’m scared of walking into a dumpster fire. I don’t want to hate my life and have to go back to the job hunt in two months in this shitty market.

Anyone hiring and entry-level developers? Graduated last year and have 1 year of experience. I also am international so not allowed to apply to government jobs. Would truly appreciate any help :).

I’m not bad with money but definitely lots of room to improve overall, due to several personal factors I don’t want to list in full here (numerous unanticipated medical bills, bad boyfriends, etc.) Hence why I only have $3k in savings right now. At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
