Do mindtree fire after 3 months of bench period?

Is it normal to be on bench for more than 3 months in infosys ?? When I check with manger he is telling no need to worry .. need update from senior infy folks ..

Got released because long bench time within 5 months from new firm, so an Immediate joiner
Now when recruiters are calling me I'm saying 15 lpa negotiable but the thing is interviews are not happening for medium to large companies after that.
Please suggest how to go about it in this scenario

I received mindtree offer letter with 60 days. Since my current notice period is 90 days, HR informed that they can extend the dates later and reissue the updated letter.
Is it the process of mindtree and is it okay to resign with this initial 60 days offer letter?
