I completed my interview loop at Google on August 12, 2022. My recruiter informed me on August 29th that due to a couple of realignments within the org, the hiring manager has not shared any feedback. I was informed on September 8th that the hiring committee is scheduled the next day (September 9th) and that I can expect a final feedback latest by September 12th. I wasn’t informed of the results and reached out, but the recruiter isn’t replying to my emails. Does this mean I was rejected?

How long did you hear for an update after applying to visa with or without a referral?

I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter. I am asked during this RE analyst interview to build a real estate model from scratch. My background is commercial banking and I am used to analyzing real estate deals from the lender side not the developer. The interviewer is generous I must say he’s giving me a few days to complete. However this model is for a ground up multifamily development. I have no prior experience building one. I can find models online but all very complexe to reproduce. How would you handle? Is there a polite/gentle way to talk to your boyfriend about the fact that he has gained a lot of weight in the past year and needs more physical activity in his life?

I am not a very shallow person — he was already on the heavier side when we met. But when I look at photos from just a year ago, it’s clear he’s put on a lot of weight. I am worried about his health. Hey folks - I have an inquiry on my credit for a gym membership I “failed to cancel”. I had previously left this gym as it closed during pandemic, and shifted to a new location. In doing so, I informed the gym I would be leaving. However, I recently checked my credit and saw that my membership had not been cancelled and had been sent to collections (prompting an inquiry and dropping my score).

My wife works at a school with kids with behavioral issues. The kids are abusive to the teachers/paras and have hit, kicked, pulled hair, as well as have grabbed the privates of teachers/paras.
