[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?

Lots of clients won’t sign any contract other than their own but yes, you can have something with your terms laid out. Plenty of templates available just a something search away
In my estimate I include a terms section and state that “any initiation of production constitutes agreement with the above .” Not sure how it holds up legally actually, but it doesn’t require a signature and at least outlines my expectations in writing so things don’t slip through the cracks or go undiscussed.
MUST have a contract in place. I googled and pulled what I liked from many contracts and clauses online. Important - invoice due date and work deadlines and if you’re getting 1/2 up front bf you start work. Yes I created a contract for bigger client and they didn’t sign mine but I signed theirs. Sometimes I’ll begin working in good faith - but it’s not a good idea. Clear boundaries first. Set the tone.
You can definitely find a few online. I had mine written specifically because I wanted something that covered everything I needed in one-page.
