Who's got the most fishbowl points?
hey folks, I am going to join Oracle ossi in Hyderabad location. I have never been to Hyderabad, and will be relocating. Please guide on what would be good areas to look for rent. Also, what would be rent like for 2/3 bhk. Ideally my budget for rent would be <25k. Initially I will be going but in future my family will join me once I am settled. Any points to note or any other gotcha to keep in mind ? Please suggest.

Hello! The key in these moments is to remain calm, it’s okay for differences in views, as various cultural, physical and biological factors or perceived beliefs make up a person’s “political” outlook.
As a sales woman I actually welcome situations like these for my personal reasons that I value hearing others’ brains, especially those I disagree with. RELATIONALLY in these moments, it’s a great opportunity to showcase to the other person, the breadth of you intelligence, training, and aptitude— being able to maintain a conversation if need be to At least communicate that you’re present with them. As an immigrant, in my culture it’s just a bit rude to simply ignore people. PROFESSIONALLY—As a representative of whichever organization you work for, still keep at the forefront of your thoughts that your responsibility is to your job= making the sale or bringing in revenue. You have these things to think about in such settings but ultimately it boils down to two things: STRATEGICALLY—1) Be calculated, and roll along with the conversation (doesn’t mean you agree— unless they’re holding you hostage). 2) Keep it direct and professional and say “Well… -smile- Thank you for sharing; that’s very interesting. I’d definitely have to think more about that”. Affirm your prospects existence and continue with, “For sake of today’s objective and the time we have, :) haha (actually chuckle) let’s finish discussing your project and I’d be glad to revisit this conversation with you.” Even if the last thing you want to do is keep speaking to them— because you got to get your job done and get to a Yes or no.
🤣 The trick is honestly, remember it’s not going to kill you. At some point you realize we’re all only humans living life and the better you get at letting go of emotional turmoil, The more relaxed your consulting/sales journey will be and the more in control you will be. I have no idea what the topic was; I can say from experience of being battered by all kinds of people— I’ve had prospects deny to work with me because of their hatred for a particular auto brand. Lots of unusual things, but it all really doesn’t matter. It’s fun to play with it. If you have great leadership who values your talents, they should also be supportive and protecting you in these situations. Always seek further counsel from your Lead. Have fun and God bless you!

Thanks so much!
Honestly, I’d see it as a chance to connect without going too deep. I’ve had prospects bring up politics, and even if I disagreed, I just listened and found some common ground. It actually helped build rapport. Sometimes letting them talk makes the sale easier.
