Interesting question. I think there are people at my job who care about me, and have encouraged me. So I've felt like they're concerned with my success. But the job itself is not a person. And on some level we're a number, or a cell on a spreadsheet. I know in other generations people felt that companies were loyal to its employees, but that concept doesn't seem to exist much these days.
It might be very cynical of me to say, but I don't believe there are many companies left that still view and treat their employees as human. Perhaps smaller companies that aren't driven by the desire for quarterly growth at any cost, but those are so rare and getting increasingly uncommon as they fail or get bought out. I know my company doesn't care about me at all, just how much they can get from me at the smallest possible expense to themselves.
No I do not to be honest. I work for a corporation and I believe corporations are soul less entities designed to extract wealth from your labor. That being said when you do have feelings of caring from your job I feel like that is the people as a whole rather than the company. I separate the two mentally.
