I feel so far behind when it comes to savings now. But like you said, it really is difficult now. If I was barely able to do it before, now really isn’t the best time to stress out about it. I have a savings account that gets interest, not that there’s much in there, but that’s the best I can do right now.

Yep I don’t stress about it either because I’m living for now and that’s all I can do
Absolutely. if I didn't have student debt, I would be in such a better financial position right now. Luckily when I met my husband he already owned a home (in a very strange but fortunate circumstance) so I know we have an advantage there compared to other millennials. But we are still pretty cash broke and I wish I had much more saved in the bank

Hey you’re not alone in all this many of us are in same boat
I have nothing saved. I live paycheck to paycheck and that is with keeping my cost of living as low as possible (I don't own a car, I live in a tiny studio apartment). I'm in my mid-30s. I have pretty much accepted the fact that I will never retire. What really scares me is not knowing what will happen if I become too sick or old to work. How did we get to the point where full-time employees can't afford to live?
