I’m the only mechanical engineer at my company dealing with a half dozen cranky production managers who think that I can “work my magic” on a machine. It’s not magic, just ignorance about the machine actually works. How to I get a manager to stop caring about the end product long enough for me to actually teach them about their own machine?

I am looking for the weekend jobs in the production department. I have done graduation in mechanical Engineering and my majors were lean manufacturing and statistics quality control.
