Umm no! This sounds amazing. I have several meetings each and every single day. I would love a no meeting day.

It's a rare day that we actually don't have meetings even with our "no meeting friday" policy lol. Something always ends up coming up to require a meeting of some sort
I’m curious how do you balance your time with meetings and actual work? I currently only have one meeting a week in my current position, and of course will be expected to take more than one meeting in a future job so looking for tips?

Honestly, it usually means I just end up staying on later. It depends on the day and the types of meetings but there's also chances where I can multitask especially if I don't have a large speaking role on the meeting but still need to attend to either take note of things or be aware tangentially of what's going on
We also try a no meetings on Friday rule, and it generally works out pretty well. We've gone through periods of too many meetings (in my view, at least) but lately we're not too bogged down in them. I almost always feel like the time I spend in meetings would be better spent working, but some of my colleagues seem to regard the meetings as the work.

Glad that it generally works out for you. We're making more of an effort to try and make it work, but it doesn't seem like it's been super successful yet (there's marginal improvement so there's hope though)
