Not sure. We can ask where we are in the pay band we are in as well as our comp ratio. If under 1 you are below the median. If over then above. I know one staff member who knows how much less he is compared to another. It’s made him a total dick about it even though he is really difficult to work with, never compromises, isn’t as strong as the other person, etc.
Another staff member complains about their $200K+ salary and always wanting a bigger increase. This person is the highest paid person on the entire team and that includes myself. I don’t think they are aware that they make more than their boss.
