I have a wealth manager and I don't have a serious amount of wealth. Here are some benefits: tax loss harvesting, estate planning, and financial projections so I can retire at 55. I also don't have 10m+ or a trust fund.
My dad didn’t need one but had one, and recommended I get one too. I need more guidance and accountability but I don’t let anyone decide anything for me. I get multiple opinions and act.
No. Find a fee for service financial planner to create a plan, if you need one but don’t let a “wealth manager” charge a percent of AUM.
If you’re a ceo then yes go for it!
