Do you think working in a big vs small agency hurts or helps your salary? Some of the smaller agencies seem to have higher pay bands because they nurture their employees more than big agencies. Which do you recommend specifically from a salary standpoint?

NDAs - signed my first one as a part of a severance agreement. thinking about leaving an honest review for this company, but unsure about the liabilities that come with this. I did it! I got an in-house Paralegal position after years of working and being burned out at different law firms. I was going to leave the legal field all together because I was so burned out and depressed, but I decided to give the field one more chance if I was able to go in-house. Prayerfully, this transition will be a good one.

I think I just screwed up on a call with a recruiter. He asked what my salary expectations were and I wasn’t thinking. I threw out a number that is about what I’m making now including my bonus.

I’ve been at my company for 8 months. I just found out another designer who has been here for several years gets an annual bonus at the end of the fiscal year. I have never been told about a bonus and haven’t gotten one yet for the previous fiscal year that ended In July. Should I have been told I get a bonus when I signed on or are they typically a surprise?
