More about human actions and interactions. So lots of personal growth rather than business/technical learning.
Nope, not at all.
I think the biggest thing I've learned about human interactions in this job is the astounding capacity we have to be complete assholes to one another
Advisory Mgr - I'm going to bet you know more than you realize. Every project consists of 2 things: Subject Matter and Process. The process can be applied to anything. For example, if you do a vendor selection for for fun accounting and custody, it's the exact same process as selecting a parts supplier for an airplane. You still issue an RFI, an RFP, conduct site visits, score them etc. if you're looking at it from that perspective, you're gaining a very wide variety of skills and experiences.
E1 nailed it.
You're not paying attention
Good point PwC2. What's the best way to communicate those skills on a resume or during an interview? Want to make sure I'm clearly displaying my value proposition
Just keep it focused on the various types of projects you've done rather than the subject matter. If you have 8 bullet points in your resume related to what you e done at PwC, you might have one that covers the various subject matters that you've touched and the rest focused on the various types of projects that you've worked on. Obviously you'll want to tailor it somewhat to the job that you're applying for, but hopefully that makes sense.
^agree with ey1. Feel the same
I'm with you OP although my PowerPoint skills are better!
I've learned a good amount about other finance processes I didn't touch when I was in industry.
I'm learning patience.

I'm always worried that the longer I spend in consulting (financial svcs) the more I become pidgeon holed here. I have no knowledge outside of wealth and asset mgmt and minimal skills outside of PMO and organizing/leading meetings/conf calls
