Hi everyone!
Debating between an offer from 200 employee company vs Zoom (the company).
The smaller company has good benefits, great wlb and a great culture per Glassdoor reviews. But its an HR software and not easy to sell.
Compensation is similar.
Never worked in a big company like zoom before, what are the pros, and the drawbacks?

Product Management at a large bank vs Business Analytics/S&O for FAANG? Recently started in the former role, but have interview calls for the latter just come up in my mailbox. Similar comp when adjusted for the different job locations. Can anyone help me with the Pros and Cons please. I know the roles are different, and so are the industries, need to understand difference career paths and difference in corporate cultures. JPMorgan Chase Google LinkedIn Citi

Up to before COVID times I’d have said MBB, but FAANG is probably more appealing now for a variety of reasons (more remote work which will mean a general reduction in consulting travel which I used to like, better WLB, etc) - ultimately MBB is something you do to have a wide range of experiences and enjoy the perks of it, but it’s all aimed at securing that golden exit, which FAANG is
Coworker went to Amazon a year before the pandemic and got a lot of stock. In the time he’s been there that free stock has gone up more than the 3 years of my salary.
FAANG hands down. We do some really interesting, challenging work in consulting, but the hours are unforgiving, the comp isn't what it used to be and the culture in general sucks. Only upside was getting to travel and explore places you wouldn't have ordinarily travelled to (including remote towns in the middle of nowhere - pretty cool experience unless you're doing it for > 3 months). With that out of the picture now, FAANG would be the obvious choice. Better perks, better comp, (generally) better culture, plus a solid brand name on your CV
Take FAANG
Haha unfortunately I’m not deciding between offers, I’m just thinking about what my ideal move would be and wanted to crowd source some opinions
Lol FAANG- mbb tries t leave for faang
Big Tech for sure. Better to much better WLB, the ability to have a life, and likely better comp trajectory.
For top undergrads it’s generally FAANG PM>>>>>MBB>=FAANG SWE
I guess it depends which undergrads. From my perspective, it is a matter of skill and interest. Perhaps people like you who were perhaps already kind of interested in MBB or turned off by a SWE internship feel that way about PM as being a blend of business and engineering. I've seen that from the course 6 ppl who also double majored in 15. But either way, the CS majors who stick with SWE handily outnumber those who go for PM or MBB.
FAANG
Don’t the FAANG companies need you to be in their geographic vicinity? You can live in any city with MBB, right?
