I have two offers: 1. a strategy and ops role at a late stage startup, pre ipo (think databricks, Stripe) 2. a data science role at a bank. Comp is roughly the same at 270k TC. I’m much more interested in data science long term, but have FOMO about missing out on pre ipo shares. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hey just got an offer in the Accenture’s CDP program. Starting salary is 88k with a 10k signing bonus. Now is there any room to negotiate that to a 90k salary or is there no negotiating in the CDP program? Overall I have 1 YOE and just want to earn 100k my first year so if there is no room I’m happy with what I got offered.

Would appreciate feedback on this offer. Just got promoted to M1 in FDD at EY. Manager FP&A at software unicorn. Base $115k, bonus 7.5%, approx $45k RSU’s vesting over 4 years. Work life balance is allegedly great, path to promotion to SM in 6-12 months. Comp feels like more of a lateral move but company culture seems great.
Just looking for opinions, trying to be more mindful of my finances. How much or what percentage of your salary do you guys reserve for yourself, if any? And this might include money for (not essentials ) but nice to haves.. like probably a new bag, makeup, clothes etc. I intend to put in 50% into the family expenditure pool as my contribution (my partner takes care of the rest) . Need Salary insights for a 3 YOE exp lateral hire and immediate joiner. Deloitte USI is offering 7LPA+50k joining bonus, current ctc 4.5 LPA. HR says this is the max for the band, but I see 2 YOE exp guys also getting paid upwards of 9LPA.

Scenario: company A made an offer with 1 week to decide, but company B interviews still in process. company Bs process involves an extensive assignment that will take me more than 1 week to prepare. 1yr of work experience at MBB -- prior experience was in non-profit / community development. What exits could allow me to stay in the private sector that aren't consulting? I think exiting to Tech or a bank is unlikely with no prior experience; I want to eventually return to non profit work, but still want to spend the next few years in the private sector (tbh, just for the experience and so my MBA didn't go to waste).
