Does anyone have any advice on getting hired back to Travelers? I've applied to numerous UW positions but seemed to get passed over. Any advice is appreciated

Why you say that?

I would make it known to any old colleague that you are familar and friendly wifh that you are interested in returning. Make it as publicly known as possible. If they liked you they'll certainly think of you when a new role comes up.

Great networking advice.

Travelers is currently going through a reorganization. Internal employees will be given first priority

Where did you hear this?

They're hiring heavy on interns for UW. It's hard even internally to get into UW/UPDP

Thanks for the info! I've had multiple referrals for jobs from current employees and still no luck. I guess I'll give up

Might be time to move on.

Me and my partner are not sure whether we want to have kids . Sometimes we want to and the next day we are completely against the idea . The reason we want to have kids is that we want to grow our inner circle , have more people in this world who we can call our family. And we don’t want to have kids is that it will put extra pressure on us , less freedom for next 10-15 years. Wanted to understand why people have kids or don’t have kids . Please share your thoughts :)

Hi. I would appreciate any advice on this. I have been working in TCS for 3 years in Support domain. I have completed my PGP in Data Science and Business Analytics. I have been trying to get placed in Accenture. I applied last November as a referral to Accenture. However, my resume was rejected. I thought it was because I was not serving notice period and still studying my PGP. However, I have completed my degree now and am looking to switch over. (In comments) Accenture

Any tips for getting better other than “advocating more”?

currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover
