I’ve been working at Deloitte (federal) for 4 months now at the analyst level doing the typical analyst work, like building decks. The original company I wanted to work for had to rescind my offer back in March due to COVID. They’re hiring again and want me to join. It’s a boutique consulting firm, I’ll be apart of the cyber risk team. Which was what I originally wanted to do.

I had cleared all the rounds in S&P and had salary discussion 1.5 month back. The HR is always saying the management is on leave and will soon get the approval and release offer. I was just talking to a younger friend who goes to Cal and It seems like the kids these days hate FAANG or at least Amazon and Facebook are not desired at all. I personally don’t see too many issues working at either Amazon or Facebook because I work at Deloitte where I’m sure we have many questionable clients and worked in financial services before.
