After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

What they are legally required to do and what their investors and shareholders will make them do will be two different things. Because you’re right, most shareholders are not going to wait around for six months for updated info.
A lot of what I’ve read would require a 10-k level of reporting annually, a semi-annual 10-Q report and some slimmed down KPI reporting in the first and third quarters to help investors get enough info to be able to track progress. The amount of hours saved each year for accounting/reporting teams and auditors would be substantial.

Oh for sure. I would love two less forecasting cycles. I just wonder how hard external parties will fight for quarterly reports.
I think this is what they do in EMEA

I could be mistaken, but I thought the proposal would require semi-annual reporting, with quarterly results becoming optional. My guess is that companies that continue to report quarterly would still have an edge, since investors generally prefer more frequent updates rather than waiting longer for new information.
