Hi, I recently came across Scaler's MS program, which offers masters degree in collaboration with Woolf University (European University). And, I am looking move to Canada in near future. Will the master degree offered through this course will be accepted by the education evaluation institute WES? If yes, is it considered as equivalent to Canadian Masters degree? Looks like we're all public schoolers lol, welcome to the club! I imagine the best part of private school teaching has to be the pay, or the admin that actual acts like it! At least from what I've seen in movies.

My pay was just over half of what public schools paid and my administration was way worse… and that’s saying something.
I had a friend who taught in an all boys school & when she sent a boy to the administrator with a referral, the administrator, a priest, told the boy that she “must be on the rag” and then they just chatted about other topics. That was 1990. I taught in an all girls school and the nun in charge turned the heat off at 1:00 when school ended at 2:30. I would be in my room at 3 in a club meeting wondering why I was so cold.
I have but I left due to the pitiful pay.

Same!!
I taught in a private school for 11 years. There’s some great things and some not great things. I absolutely loved the school (not a religious school) and believed in the philosophy and approach. What I didn’t love was the low pay and lack of resources to teach students with special needs. We didn’t have a special education department. What I did love was the freedom I had with developing curriculum units and the heavy emphasis on the arts. I felt kids were seen as whole beings not just academic performers.
