I have 2.5 years of experience as a BI consultant primarily working with SQL and Power BI. I feel a little underpaid while currently making $75k. Context: I've been at my agency for over three years (five and half years total since I'm a boomerang), leading the strategy team for a high growth and high pride account for two of those years. My agency has generously increased my salary by $4k last year and gave me spot bonuses totalling $6k to recognize my hard work, but I'm still on the lower end of the salary range for my title (under $130k) and not matching the rate of inflation for NYC. My question continues in the comments.

I’m in the final stages of an interview process and I’m getting anxious about an offer… I shared my salary range with the recruiter in the screening based on the JD, but after meeting the HM/team and learning more about the role, I realized my range was low for the amount of work that needs done (the team is new and needs processes established, tools implemented, and major boundaries for stakeholders). Can I negotiate the salary with that as my reasoning if they offer me my original number?
