I am a new grad and been considering between two offers: one from Accenture as a Tech Arch Analyst (Austin), one is from JP Morgan SWE (Houston). Can anyone share your experience with either of these positions and what would be your recommendation? I appreciate all insights.

I was fired by my firm in Oct for a combo of covid-related & other reasons, jumped right into volunteering for Biden campaign, then spent Dec/Jan dealing with family issues. Whats the recommended line length for bullets on the resume portion? Is 4 lines too much? Even 3 lines a bit much? ...By the time I get to stating any numerical outcomes or “why” the accomplishment is special I usually spill over to the 3rd or 4th line. I’m still able to fit resume to 1 page but worried if lots of 3-4 liners are discouraged.

Do companies give a refresher each year, so that the second year, you might get $40k from your first grant and another $40k from your second grant? Tell me your craziest experience working with a TV network. Here comes mine:

I'm American, but my family is mostly Colombian. I was told my aunt and cousins would come here for 2 weeks. I discovered they were going to be paid to appear in a famous Hispanic TV show, where a "judge" receives a case, hears the plaintiffs and defendants and renders a verdict. But of course, it's all fake and payed 😂 turns out she wanted me to go there (even though I don't work for that TV network) so she's sure she'll be paid at the end of the show. Wth did I just do.

Looking for some advice on how to branch off into a job in tech. I’m a Mechanical engineer interested in working in a big tech company. I have some programming experience but excel mostly in mechanical and product design as well as 3D CAD. How did all the tech/media companies decide there should be a “creative strategist” title where the job is clearly creative, not strategy?

“Strategist” = noun, person, role.
“Creative” = adjective, modifier (in this case).
“Creative strategist” is a strategist, even if a lame sort of strategist, but not a creative.

Did they all realize how dumb “strategic creative” sounds, so they subverted grammar to make it sound better?
