*#AThousandThankYous to the front line workers*
Our nation saw a disheartening surge in covid cases. Amidst these tough and painful times, the doctors, nurses, and hospital staff continue to work day in and day out for our safety, our lives.
Calling you to join hands, as we raise funds to show them a token of gratitude with a small care package.
A ray of light to those who deserve #AThousandThankYous 🙏🏻

Yep, we have our desks in the same room. We just accept that sometimes there's background cross-chat on our calls... after all, there used to be that in the office / team room, too!
My partner and I have this exact set up. Idk how big your 2BR is, but we were able to get a queen bed and desk from Amazon in there no problem. We also mounted a TV over the desk set up. The bed is along the wall on the long side of the room. If you have a 10x8-9 room it should be enough for the set up described.
As crazy as it may sound, look into modern Murphy bed options. We converted our guest bedroom into an office and the bed is hidden by a bookcase so my background looks office-y but we still have functionality to have guests over. My desk isn’t particularly large and my chair can easily roll away so when guests are here it’s more of a bedroom.
Now as to how my partner and I distance from each other while both on phone calls? Well one gets the office and the other prefers couch/bed/non-office so we are never in the same room while both on a call.

We actually love the idea of having a Murphy bed! We didn't want to get one because we are likely just going to live in this apartment for 1-2 years tops.
We have the same set up and are about to get a sofa bed from Article, the one that you can pull out to make a bed. We don't like sharing the same room due to calls so the other person usually works in the living room.
