I’ve tried many and just can’t stick with it. Updating the app is just another task.
I’d be interested in an AI product that generates tasks for me based on inbound and lets me make edits status updates just by talking to it. But based on my history, I’d probably just get really excited to use it at first, pay for a premium subscription, stop using it, and forget to cancel.
It’s like you just pulled this comment directly from my brain. Because same.
I’ve had great success with calendaring time to complete the tasks from my to do list. Instead of noting X is due by 5pm Friday, I block off time on my calendar to complete X. It’s great and helps you see what your bandwidth is. If the end of your week is slammed you can work a little later on M/T to avoid a Friday all-nighter

Outside of productivity apps, I’ve had some luck with binaural beats apps. They help focus my mind. I don’t know what’s available on Android, but on Apple I like Brainwave. For me, the “Focused and Alert” setting in that works better than the Concentrate setting, but YMMV. I also sleep to the “Deep Sleep/Wake Up” program all night. Works like a charm. You need headphones or they don’t work, though. There’s also one called BW Studio that uses timed beats instead of binaural beats to generate specific brain waves.
