Does CSR ever do sign up specials? Wondering if I should apply for one now, or get a no fee travel card, and apply for CSR next year.

Visiting Toronto in September, I've been there many times and have had a good time, though I've never fallen in love with the City. What are some of your suggestions for visitors beyond St. Lawrence market, CN tower and distillery district?

Would it be practical to look for an apartment 10-15 kms away if the office location is Marathahalli?
Location of choice would be hebbal, thanisandra, avalahalli and other similar ones.
Would it make sense to reside in such locations and travel to work?
