JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Why would the boarder question you?
EY doesn’t allow working from overseas due to client data privacy issues. Check with your Partner. However, its very normal to take a vacation of few weeks and get your stamping done. I went on a 3 week vacation to India and got my h1b stamped. As long as you are an active employee of your firm, its all good.
And am worried that I’m to be questioned by the custom as for the period of time I’m in China. Is it fine to work from China for a week or so while on H1B? TIA!
I was away for 3 weeks for vacation, they won’t ask you such questions
This question has been asked before. Uscis doesn't care what you do outside of the US. The only question is taxes - you'll be fine from Uncle Sam cause EY will deduct US taxes.... But taxes may become due in China for the week you work from there. Best to call EY's 1-800 helpdesk and ask HR
