I just came to realise Deutsche Bank has a fixed rule of max 30 to 35 % hike on fixed component and remaining 10 to 15% variable i.e. total 50% max hike you can ask for no matter how good, skilled you are.
Is it true?

It depends. Generally you can BYOD and the firm may reimburse your costs up to an amount. This isn’t for all employees. It’s a monthly amount (ie $50). If you have to travel and get an international plan you may be eligible for a higher tier.
No, and no, allowances per category. ($15 breakfast, $0 lunch, $50 dinner, $60 per month cell bill, etc) Candidly it’s a terrible system and one of the things I hate most about EY
Cell phone limit used to be huge, 100 for senior and 150+ for manager or other specific circumstance.
However as plans have gotten cheaper as providers have decoupled phone cost from the service EY lowered the limit to help enforce what was actually already policy: monthly bill is and was for the service only. people got away with including the phone cost by doing the payment plan option, which added a portion of the payment to each monthly bill.
So what do people do for lunch if it’s $0?
Buy it yourself or expense it as breakfast if you don’t get breakfast otherwise.
