You have a higher likelihood of WLB but it’s not a guarantee
No but people seem less intense. But that also might depend on teams and office locations.
Totally varies
No. I worked at one. Yes, the billable goal is lower but you also work on a bunch of smaller clients. It can be very long hours.

Same experience here, yes billable goal is lower but a lot of those engagements have tiny budgets so you never see the “actual hours” worked
In this world, nothing is certain besides death and taxes
And taxes = long hours
Depends more on your manager than your firm tbh
Completely depends on the firm and office. My prior mid tier worked us to death - most staff were typically 200 hours over their yearly budget and some extreme “high performers” were 500+ over. Consecutive 80+ hour weeks were regular occurrences and actively praised by partners. Staff were using adderall and caffeine pills just to keep up.
CLA has been great for me since I started. Haven’t gone over 70 in a week once, strong recruiting strategy so we’re pretty well leveraged, and principals aren’t afraid to use other offices with capacity to make sure staff aren’t getting crushed and burnt out. This may not be the case at all CLA offices, but mine is fantastic.
Which CLA office are you at? I was contacted by someone there and curious about their office culture
Ymmv. For me it's way way better than the people I know at big 4, but also better than friends at mid-size. Would say depends on your group like everything else
I’ve done both. Yes slightly better hours at midsized, but you end up having to work on many more smaller clients as opposed to one or a few larger clients. This causes other kinds of stress.

Not from my experience, a mid tier like a national firm will be just as bad as B4
Small regional firms have decent WLB but depends on the staffing etc
