Does your agency have measures to deal with frequent false alarms, do they tie up a lot of resources, or do you just not get that many?

We get probably over a hundred alarms a day, and the percentage of them that aren't false alarms is around .001%. In my 10+ years on patrol, I've had fewer than five legit business alarms, and only one legit residential alarm.

Most of the citizens I actually speak to tell me they either told their alarm company to cancel, or they didn't even know it went off.

Yes, we actually had one this morning at our local school district this morning that was a false alarm. I think this is the 6th one this school year for the school. They are aware they have an issue with the system and are working to get it replaced but in the interim we still have to respond

I'm not trying to be the one-up guy, but 6 alarms at a business this far into the year wouldn't even really be on our radar. We have hundreds of businesses right now who are on their 6th alarm this week. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's out of control and a total black hole for our resources.

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?
