I want to know why recruiters ask me in an interview if I am looking at other opportunities, or if I am interviewing at other companies. If I say yes they will ask at what stage I am.

I just want to know the reason behind it and if there is a right answer to this question!

I’m a 2nd year associate and assuming I stay, will be promoted this summer. I’m ready to start looking around at other opportunities because I’m not satisfied with the types of projects I’m involved with. Is it reasonable to apply to SA roles or should I focus on associate roles? My experience over the past two years is probably slightly less technical than the roles I want to apply for

Hello! I need some (creative) suggestions on how to do a video interview. I live in a very small 1br apartment with my husband occupying the bedroom for work during the day and a 2 yr old occupying the living area. I thought of the kitchen but it’s proximity to a busy road makes it a little too noisy to have a good call. The bathroom perhaps? Will that create an echo? I am thinking of using a backdrop so that the mess will be covered up. It will be a 30-min interview.
