Due to chronic health problems that are unfortunately genetic, I have to change my career that I have had for over 16 years. I need to work to be able to pay my rent and bills in the meantime. I am struggling to find a new job that is easier on my body. I have been working with a case worker, looking on job boards on line, Dept of Work Force Services, Indeed, Glassdoor, and making phone calls after people suggests certain places. Are there any suggestions of what else I can do?

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before.
