Do you feel, as members of our community in advertising (a privilege we share in having a voice in media but also cultural persuasion) that you should lean into brands taking advantage of the opportunity to capitalize on our community or steer them away from that but also refocus their minds to a more long term diverse creative solution?

My partner got a City of Toronto offer. Salary band is 104-121k. HR asked for his expectations and he said 115k. HR came back with a 106k offer stating nobody on the team makes that much so they cant offer it. Also said she is unsure if there is any wiggle room if any at all. I’ve looked at everyone on the team with the same titles salary on the sunshine list and the lowest I see is 121k. I assume there is an OT component of some sort but also can’t confirm. Thoughts? /negotiating advice?

What are the salaries like at level 9 & 10 for management consulting in digital commerce at Accenture strategy? My profile: 4 years tech experience in e-commerce and data + MBA from tier 2 bschool + ecommerce BA experience at Capgemini

I have an interview for a Principal Renewals Manager role at Slack/Salesforce this Wednesday and I was hoping for some advice on how I can wow them? Ive done a lot of research and made loads of notes but get very nervous in interviews and dont always articulate how I would want to / say everything I want to cover. I took FAR in Aug and AUD last week. Didn’t pass FAR and feeling like I may have passed AUD. My original NTS for them runs out on dec 18. If I get a new NTS for one of them to take before busy season do I have to wait to take it until after my original NTS runs out?

This past year was/is the worst in my life by far. Aside from all the Covid mess we’ve all dealt with I lost a parent, an in-law, my spouse has decided they no longer want to be married and my grandmother is in hospice with days left. I believe this was/is my least productive year in my career as a result. I’m worried my job won’t be here in a few months and I’m doing my best to hold it together. Sorry to be a downer but I just needed to throw my worries out there in hopes they never come back.
