Every time I try to talk to this guy, he is a passive aggressive liar. It's tiring trying to be the nice guy. I like his product, not him. You would think a wine sommelier would try not to swindle you too much. I know he deserves his cut of the sale, but you shouldn't have to lie to make yourself look good. Especially if you're the sole proprietor of your business.

Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed. He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.

I had customers tell me how amazing the salads I make for them. It’s great that I can make salads that good!

Once when I was waiting tables, I had a guy pay me cash. The change was 45 cents, which I didn't give back to him because like who wants that. He then asked where the change was, and when I explained that I didn't give back the loose change, he made a big stink about how dollars and cents matter and didn't leave me a tip. He was a republican staffer on capitol hill.
