Mine is only 1 page and I've been doing Salesforce work for 13 years. You just pick the biggest things to put down
25 years - 2 pages. I can talk about the rest if they’re interested in speaking
No, sorry for the confusion - that’s 5 firms and 2 industry roles 😂. I just have the relevant projects listed and very brief description for the older jobs and my education on the 2nd page.
I have two pages and haven’t been told it was bad.
Your resume will be thrown out if it’s longer than a page
False. I hire people all the time with more than one page resumes.
As long as it’s not bs it’s fine. We’re hiring for a role and I got one that was 17 pages and one that was 48. The 48 got me intrigued and I ended up fact checking … turns out he thought highlighting that over a 30 year period his longest job being 1.5 years was somehow a good idea. One of his roles was for a consulting firm we acquired where he said he saved the world and no one from that company even recalls ever knowing him.
The company is spending maybe a minute on your resume. It’s actually in your favor to keep the resume concise and focused. That way you are picking what to highlight (that is relevant to the company and role), instead of relying on the recruiter and hiring manager to find that information.

Mine is about 1.5 pages. Never had an issue. Gotten multiple interviews the past few months and an offer recently. Now, the way I got interviews is a whole different story (brutal market) as it required extensive networking for each one….
