Exam Price????

Ok, what did you pay to take each exam.

Maryland in one place says it's $208.40, in another place says it's $224.99, and then the NASBA website says $225. Then, the NASBA payment portal says $254.80?

Seems like these people need some CPAs to get their prices matched up.

Links to all these prices available upon request :P

Haha! I just spoke to NASBA and they said "Oh yeah, we raised our prices, because you used to be able to pay for multiple tests at once, but now you pay for one test at a time, so we had to raise our prices."
Seems strange to me... (That's me being nice.)
Time for all these organizations to hire a CPA.

There's nothing strange about it. They don't need a CPA. They need someone updating their websites. There's lots of inconsistencies, but that's unrelated to accounting....

In FL last time I applied and registered it was $305 per test. Honestly I know it doesn’t sound like a lot but over four tests and not knowing if you pass or fail right away os the hardest part of the whole journey. How can I keep forking up 300 bucks for these tests

like

Totally. Like, maybe it's time for some internal controls in NASBA.

Hi all, I’d love to hear from PR/Comms folks about the process of transitioning from agency to an in-house role. What kind of chance does a PR pro with ~7 years of solid experience across CPG and hospitality brands, including a mix of global agency work and smaller boutique firms, have at going in house? Do you typically need more experience before going in house? Would be great to hear about various experiences from those that have made the transition. Thanks!

I’ve been at a job for a few months and hate it - partners set unrealistic deadlines, micromanage, and create work that truly is not necessary/push urgency when there is no real urgency. I can’t tell if this is just burnout, growing pains, or just an untenable work environment. Would you ride it out for a year at new job or pursue other options? HELP!
