I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

The position is a majority technical role. But of course you need to develop your analytical and communication skills. You don't need to master every skill you see in the internet. Basic knowledge will suffice because the rest you will learn it through experience.
Take data science/analysis courses alongside machine learning - that's a great foundation for a data system developer. Any projects in either of those areas will look great on a resume. Just make sure you put yourself out there and network, reach out early to companies you are interested in interning with or working for.
Be glad to help. You can also post this to referral bowl. It's designated for purposes of helping those who are looking not just for referrals but for a job in general.
Any related projects will do. Reach out to recruiters and start networking as soon as possible. Having a specific role and company in mind will also help you.
