Very easy. I always take the train when traveling from Newark for personal use since it is so cheap!

like

Fuck NJ Transit. Barely better than the subway.

like

K gonna try it tomorrow!! Will let ya know how it goes.

like

Made it! Thanks 🐠s. It did take a little longer than I expected.

Just allow a lot of time. It could be worse

It's pretty easy, nice during rush hour

Never had a problem. Easy peasy

Where are you going from? NYC?

North Jersey

That's pretty vague, tough to say... From north jersey the uber is so cheap would be tough to get me to take train (unless rush hour as mentioned)

Happy you made it and my tip to allow time makes me feel like a pro :)

Do you pay your credit cards in full every month?

I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). It got me thinking about how many people adhere to this advice.

I am planning to move to San Jose and looking out for salary range offered to audit seniors. I am in the middle of my CPA and just need to pass one more paper. Since San Jose is overly priced, I would like to get an estimate that how much EY offers in that location.

Now, a friend and I both traveled US to Europe in the last week, different routes, in Econ/Biz. For anyone else looking to do the same, I’m happy to answer anything about the process - check in, flights, mask usage, security, visa checks, airports, social distancing, etc.

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
