Reviewing a salary offer for a Benefits Manager position in Greensboro, NC industry is retail. Offer made of $95k with 18% bonus. I have 16 YOE, degree in Business, and PHR and Shrm certification. Potential employer has 10k plus employees. I will have two reports and will report directly to the Director of Total Rewards. Any thoughts or advise on offer made? I will let them know on Monday my decision to accept, counter or decline. Thanks!

I just had the initial call with HR. I was told that Senior Analysts start at 56k and Business Operations Specialists start at 67k. I was told the next step was Junior Manager but they rarely started anyone at that level. I'm shocked. Is that accurate or are they trying to lower my expectations? Is CMA worth getting after getting the CPA? Or is it better to get the CFA. Also don’t have much finance background so I don’t know if I can pass the CFA will require a lot of hard work. Interesting in hearing people’s thoughts.
