EY H1B related question- does anybody know if EY does "bridge transfers"? Context: Got laid off from previous job and before I ran out of the 60 day grace period, transferred H1 to a small IT consulting firm but approval is pending. Wondering if EY will apply for a transfer even though the previous one is pending, I know it's completely legal and acceptable to do so (based on advice from multiple immigration lawyers). When you say your salary jumped __x, how is that exactly calculated?

Mine was $16k (minimum wage before joining corporate) > $40k (contractor total before getting laid off) > $150k (current FT)?

Is that a 260% jump or 2.6x from $16k to $40k?
And a 375% jump or 3.75x from $40k to $150k?

Or do I calculate it by hourly rate?

How do I alleviate knee pain in my back knee while doing lunges? Woke up this morning and tried to do yoga but in moving from downward dog to crescent with my left foot forward, my right knee started twinging badly enough to stop moving. I’m early 20s, healthy with no injuries but generally have issues with stuff like jump lunges. The knee feels fine while just standing, it’s when it’s locked out with weight on it that it hurts.

Um, I feel like my BF of almost 4yrs (1 living together) and I are on the brink of separating. I think COVID is putting it into perspective. We’ve gotten through the worst of the quarantine while supporting each other as best we could (very thankful for him). But his coping skills with stress (during covid) are lacking and as things progressed he’s just been taking it out on me more and more in the moment, then he feels awful for not treating me as well as I deserve (he treated me well before..)

I am curious how other inclusion teachers are being utilized when the school is doing remote learning. I find that I am sitting in the zoom class and have very little opportunity to contribute.
