Tell her to duck off and not waste your time. It's insultingly low and she should be embarrassed.
$110k seems like the salary for homegrown SC. Not sure why the miscommunication. Maybe they are anticipating the upcoming recession? I'd definitely reply back and try to get at least closer to the initial range you gave.
Definitely not normal, and 110 is low for 4YOE in NYC. 135-145 seems like an accurate range, that's what PwC pays too at SA2/3 levels.
I got offered 145 with 10k sign on bonus for EY SC role. This was last year.
I think you should send it back to EY HR one final time and see what's their final offer. Crazy they are being beaten out by PWC by 15k for talent ....
I got 108k with about 1.5 YOE
You should target coming in as a SC2. Your range is entirely reasonable for NYC. Maybe they trying to bring you in as a SC1?
I wonder. Even the HR screener (different person vs the person managing my offer) agreed it was 4 years. Wonder if there's any loss in communication and I should just get them on the phone again.
Not sure why they would think this would work.
