Feeling afraid

I got laid off two weeks ago and have been seeing a ton of posts saying the market is slowing down. The place that laid me off didn’t get me a ton of new experience I wanted and now I feel like if I take a new job just to have a job, it’ll put me in that same position of not getting the work I want. But also, I’m jobless! Dont I need to jump on the first thing that pops up?! Idk. Just scared right now

I am looking for a referral for a job in Pfizer. I am a Pharmacist with many years of Pharmacy and Business experience. I am also in the process of starting my MBA. I would appreciate the help greatly as I have applied to other Pharma positions without referrals and not had much success this way. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I asked for a raise and instead got laid off. Told that after looking into finances not only can they not afford a raise they cannot afford me. But I know for a fact they are replacing me with an Agency that say they can run our Social Media for 500pcm. Is this normal practice these days?
