So worth it when traveling a lot

like

Saved so much time, home airport is SeaTac & Clear was a lifesaver for me, especially in combo with TSA PreCheck. If I could only pick one I’d to PreCheck though bc it’s at more airports

like

It really depends on the airport you use most. For example, Clear is pretty useless if at T1 O’hare as the pre-check line is never very long. The comment about SEATAC is valid, the lines can snake there for a bit.

like

As a DL Diamond, I’ve never had to pay for CLEAR, but it has been incredibly useful for me at LGA, JFK, ATL, LAX, DEN, and MSP. Little less so at SMF, SFO, and smaller airports where the lines are already manageable for Pre. All of my friends that I’d given 3-month free trials to have bought it (there are some discounts based on DL tier, not sure about other FF programs), and it’s a small spend to make your time at the airport more frictionless.

Free with united 1k🤷

Exactly why I have it. I wouldn’t pay for it otherwise given that ORD is my base.

If you travel a lot just get TSA PreCheck or Global Entry, it’s just as good as clear but everywhere.

As someone who is virtually our only compliance person at a mid-size company, I often get questions for legal advice. I am not an attorney and cannot give legal advice (my disclaimer), but I do look at the situation from a compliance/policy/process lens and urge to consult legal always. I feel as though it discredits me and my advice because I’m not an attorney. How can I better differentiate compliance from legal and still provide valuable advice?

I have a game I love to play at the airport. I find someone who has the most vague resemblance to someone famous and then insist they are that person.

Like "Oh my God, you're Tom Hanks! I love so many of your movies and I think you are great and so funny in interviews. How are you feeling? I heard you had covid?"

Guy who very very vaguely resembles Tom Hanks insists he isn't. Then I keep insisting he is.

This is a fun way to pass time during layovers.
