fresher who looking for a job in data engg role. Completed BE mech worked for 6m after started preparing for data engg role done two certification my skills sql,python,big data,spark,azure databricks, adf and othe DE concepts now i started looking there is mostly experience jobs are available i am also having 1 yr gab due to studying what should i need to do asking referrals or intern i also apply any de jobs without any experience can any one tell me what i have to do where ?

In investment management at Deloitte. Wrapping up my second year here and looking to jump into a FP&A role/ valuation analyst. Is this a reasonable jump and what would salary expectations be?

Just received 2 offers that I’m weighing, both in Advertising tech:
1. Smaller firm about to be acquired by a larger one, Product Marketing role (title would be Sr. PMM)
2. FAANG, Sales Account Manager role (similar to my current role)
I have 5-6 YOE and have been in an Account Management role for most of my career - is it worth making the switch to PMM at a smaller firm or sticking with what I know at a FAANG? Both would have relatively similar comp. Thanks in advance for your input!

I am currently working at Meta as a Recruiting Coordinator under contract. That contract will soon come to term in July. There hasn’t been any talks about extending my contract, so I am getting very nervous about potentially being out of work in July. I am a first gen corporate worker, and I have about 5 years of experience in recruitment. I have also recently finished my Masters in HR Management, so I wanted to jump on here and see if anyone has any tips for landing a new role?

Have an internship next summer in a vertical I don’t want to work in and is completely unrelated to where I want to end up. However the firm is strong in PE. To try and break into that side after my internship at the same company, would it be more beneficial to take on a (very small boutique) PE internship or an IB internship this fall?

Dilemma… I left my old company 4 months ago. Today, they’ve reached out to me to ask me to come back at a higher role, Operations Manager. I would’ve jumped on this opportunity if they asked me before. However, this role would be hybrid (2x in office) and come along with more responsibilities and hours than my current WFH role which is very chill. The pay is only 15% more than I currently make. Any thoughts?

Why the resource team is wrongly mapping to higher level management role project proposals. Like 4 yr experienced people are being proposed for 10 year experience requirement.

I accepted an offer last month. Put In my two weeks on Friday and PwC countered / beat my new offer. I still plan to take the new role, but would like the new company to match. Hey All,
I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.
