Interviewed on 17th October about a Business Development graduate role, after one week later the HR contacted me said they will call me about my application. However,no calls or any emails. After the final interview, I found that the role is closed and my application was under consideration for about one month and then changed to no longer under consideration few days ago. Any advice? Hello all! I’m in a role where I’m being paid far less than market rate for my skills (by about 40-60%, so fairly significant). Initially I took the role to build experience and to avoid a gap on my resume.
My plan was to ask for a promotion/raise after a year, and I’ve gotten advice to get another job offer first as leverage. I’ve since realized that if I went through that trouble to get another offer, I’d just take it. Do I bother asking for a promotion or raise or just start looking?

Getting mixed review about Accenture, i definitely need work life balance but also few ppl say its not too tuff in Accenture but few say the work is hectic. People dictating emails that they otherwise could just send themselves. Honestly wtf is this? It takes less time to just write something. It often doesn’t even feel like a didactic method, just a way to hide under more junior associates. There is a senior who does this constantly, over the phone, and it’s just ducking intolerable. Even with emails directed at them, I get a call that then tells me to respond and write back X. It can be such an insufferable thing that just kills time.
