Hello Gang, I’m on the business side for Walmart right now. Walmart Global Tech recently offered me a role to move to the San Bruno office, but I’d be taking a demotion from L6 to E5. YOE: 8, COMP(200k base, 25% bonus, 100k RSU). Is this competitive in the bay? I have Doordash and Instacart in the pipeline, but no final offers yet.

Which consulting firm has the best 401k match?
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Burma Love in the Mission or Burma Superstar in Richmond (same owners) - get the tea leaf salad, sambusa soup, and chili beef with coconut rice.
Go to Hayes Valley and eat ice cream - Smitten (liquid nitrogen and great texture) or Salt&Straw (Portland original, kind of artisanal, more flavor variety). There's a square in the middle of the area where you can sit and people watch, some cute shops and boutiques to walk around as well. Agree with the above re: Bi Rite and Dolores + Mission burritos.
My favorite tourist sites are Palace of Fine Arts and Sutro Baths (especially at sunset). Enjoy, weather should be awesome this weekend 😎
Burritos in the Mission (Taqueria Cancun, La Taqueria and El Farolito are my favorites), Bi Rite Creamery for some great ice cream (line is long, but it’s worth it. Make sure to stand in the line going around the corner, not the one for the soft serve version next door. If it’s a nice day, you can enjoy your ice cream in nearby Dolores Park). Get lunch at the Ferry building from one of the food stands. Skip Fisherman’s Wharf (overrated tourist trash). Pier 39 and Ghirardelli Square are ok. Walking on the Golden Gate Bridge is touristy but is pretty cool and is something I enjoyed doing even while living in SF. Get up to Muir Woods if you want to hike/do outdoors things, otherwise Lands End or Twin Peaks will do.
