JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.
Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express
Hi all
Few months back, I accepted @pwc india's offer but didn't join.
Now I was referred for @pwc US but as I was applying for the job, the portal shows previous application with status as offer accepted.
Will pwc consider me again?
Does anyone have any idea on this?
Has someone accepted the offer but didn't join and later joined again after some months?
Please let me know
Any inputs will be helpful
Thanks!

It’s not a bad sign. They wouldn’t spend time on you if they didn’t think you were worth it.
They probably just REALLY want to be sure you’re the one. Like REALLY REALLY be sure. You know? Like really.
Don’t over think it
Could be they're interviewing for a variety of roles? Had extra interviews once and it was because they thought I might be a better fit in other groups.
As mentioned, they would have stopped if they didn't think you were worth it
Its a worrisome sign about the company - not you. I read situations like that as a group of people who may not be confident in their decision making or who don’t have a process in place for how hiring decisions are made. There’s a chance someone wants to make sure some other stakeholder has their say ‘just to be sure...’
Not a red flag, but not great
This sounds like my group. We're 100% a mess and end up wasting candidates' time like this.
Not a good sign about the employer, OP. You can definitely find someplace better.
Relax. It’s all good.
It'd be worse if you were 3/3 interviews and they had decided to make it a 4 interview process without notifying you.
If this is EY the same thing happened to me and i received and offer
No. Not really. May be it is to figure out what service line to fit you into as well
VP1 - agree 100%. Slow decision making, too much bureaucracy, or power struggles... whatever the reason, it’s not you, OP. Perhaps you should go out and shop for other jobs. If this is meant to be then fine. If not, move on.
