First trip in two years, and I'm stuck at DFW. Really filling in my consulting bingo card this week

We need to keep threads like this going. I can usually get a guest in with me at an airline club (AA Admirals) or the AMEX Centurion. Would be a good way to network plus free food & drinks! Not sure of the best way to make this happen on FB. I start traveling next week. I am sure there are others here that would be interested in meeting up when stuck at the airport.

Great idea ☝🏼

I traveled for pleasure recently for the first time in a long time. At first I was like “yes, I used to love travel”and then behind me I got the the two strangers who decided to become best bros and loudly talk about cars and bullshit for three hours so I was like “oh right, I actually hate travel.”

DFW is a great airport as far as availability goes but it’s a great example why people comment on how hideous US airports are.

like

Funny my first business trip took me through DFW. Had to run to my connecting gate but it looked alright.

Ha are you sitting next to me? At DFW myself

👀

How long is the line at CFA?

Lol. As if CFA is ever even open at DFW.

Recos:

Terminal A: Pappadeaux
Terminal C: Banh Shop
Terminal D: Pappadeaux, Banh Shop
Terminal E (Satellite): Whataburger

Also if you have Priority Pass, the lounge is in D as well.

I said the same thing! Felt nothing like an airport bar

Do you pay your credit cards in full every month?

I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). It got me thinking about how many people adhere to this advice.

Brigadeiro are scrumptious dulce de leche caramel bonbons, a beloved confection of Brazil. Brigadeiro is made from sweetened condensed milk, butter, and cocoa powder which is heated in a saucepan until it thickens and becomes a sticky caramel. Once it cools, it is rolled into a ball and dipped in multicolored sprinkles.

The iconic bonbon was named after Brigadeiro Eduardo Gomes, a 1946 presidential candidate. It was created to win voter support. (He lost).
