I’m wrapping up at my current job soon and have a joining date with the new company shortly after.There’s a one-week gap between my last working day and the start date.Their HR is asking for my last working day—should I tell them?

I’m thinking of asking for that week as a break before joining, which would give me time to explore other offers since I currently have only one.

But what if they offer a joining bonus if I join right after my notice period ends? Should I take the break or join immediately?
