Folks - thinking of exiting in 5+ months from now. I have over 10+ years global exp in SC, 3+ Consulting exp and currently a Manager, MBA from M7 school. Need advice on how should I start thinking of exit options. I want to join some product based company (read, non software but good with Tech given my SC backrgound) either in growth (series a or b) or PE backed firm. Open to locations. Retail seems to be my best bet but with Amazon in play, no retail company appears to have great future.

Reposting from HR bowl: I’ve heard there is a hiring boom, especially for L&D roles. I was let go recently from a toxic environment (removed the company from everything) after only 4 days of work. I’m actively job searching but not receiving ideal hits. I see a lot of senior level L&D roles but not as many for specialist roles, specifically in tech. I have 5.5 years of experience. Any advice for me? I’m also seeking therapy for the trauma & coping, now ready for securing that next role!

Have an offer from AWS for an L7 Principal PMT role: $215k base + $275k sign on bonus for Year 1 and $215k for year 2 + 5100 RSUs (@ $130 / share). This is the initial offer; where is there room for negotiation? Base or Sign on Bonus or RSUs? I realize it's a good offer, but I'm looking for: $225k base + existing sign on + 5500 RSUs. Does that sound like a decent counter?

But one peculiar thing is happening. I have appeared for 4 Cognizant interviews but in all I have been rejected. Whereas most of my friends had easily cleared Cognizant. I am switching tech, so I am a bit concerned like whether my knowledge is too shallow😐
